How to transfer a Jio eSIM from one device to another?
Steps to transfer Jio SIM/eSIM from an existing iPhone to a new one.
- Step 1: Ensure passcodes are enabled on both iPhones and the Jio number is active with your Email ID registered. Connect your new iPhone to Wi-Fi or a different mobile hotspot (not the one you are transferring). Place both iPhones near each other and connect them via Bluetooth.
- Step 2: On your new iPhone, go to 'Settings', tap 'Mobile Service', select 'Add eSIM' and choose 'Transfer from Nearby iPhone'. After that, confirm the transfer request on the existing iPhone.
- Step 3: Enter the verification code displayed on the new iPhone into the existing iPhone. After verification, install the eSIM profile by following the instructions on your new iPhone.
- SMS service will be unavailable for up to 24 hours.
- For iPad, you can follow the same steps by selecting ‘Other Options’ and then choosing ‘Transfer iPad Plan’.

Steps to transfer Jio eSIM from one device to another eSIM-enabled Android device.
- Step 1:Open the MyJio app. Go to the search field, type 'eSIM' and tap on 'Switch to eSIM'
- Step 2:Confirm your email address and enter the EID number of the device where you wish to activate the eSIM
- Step 3:Authenticate your request using the OTP sent to your Jio number
Once your eSIM request is successfully processed, you'll receive an eSIM profile notification on your device or an eSIM profile QR code via email from notification@Jio.com at your Email ID.
