eSIM smartphone FAQ

Switching to eSIM:

1. Step 1: Open the MyJio app. Go to the search field, type "eSIM" and tap on "Switch to eSIM”
2. Step 2: Confirm your email address and proceed. Then, enter the EID of the device where you want to activate the eSIM
3. Step 3: Authenticate your request by entering the OTP sent to your Jio number and confirming via the IVR

After sharing your confirmation on IVR call, your eSIM request will take 2 hours to process.

Once your eSIM request is successfully processed, you'll receive an eSIM profile notification on your device or an eSIM profile QR code via email from notification@Jio.com at your email id, follow the instructions to install the eSIM on your device, please refer to the step-by-step process guide for more details.
