eSIM smartphone FAQ

I am currently in international roaming and I have lost my phone/SIM or deleted the eSIM. How can I get my SIM/eSIM back?

To initiate a SIM replacement request while in international roaming, please follow these steps:
  1. Download the SIM replacement request formattached here
  2. Fill out the request form completely
  3. Attach Necessary Documents:
    • A copy of your valid Indian Passport
    • A copy of your VISA with Entry stamp / Digital Entry Document / Landing Slip or any proof of entry
    • Scan the filled SIM Replacement request form and attach documents
    • In case of eSIM, share the screenshot of EID and IMEI numbers (Dial *#06# for EID and IMEI)
  4. Send the scanned documents from your REGISTERED E-MAIL ID to care@jio.com for SIM replacement
Your request needs to undergo a video call authentication with Jio agent. Post successful validation, eSIM/SIM will be issued.
