What settings should I do if I am unable to get a network in 160+ countries which is listed?
You will be able to latch onto the foreign network automatically if your smartphone is on auto network selection. If you are unable to get a network in the country apart from 160+ countries listed in the PDF below, then please follow simple steps related to the settings mentioned below:
For iPhone:
- Step 1 : Go to ‘Settings’, tap on ‘Mobile Service’ and then, select ‘Jio SIM’. After that, under ‘Network Selection’, switch the ‘Automatic’ ON.
- Step 2 : Go to ‘Settings’, tap on ‘Mobile Service’ and then, select ‘Jio SIM’. After that, use the toggle button to enable ‘Data roaming’.
- Step 3 : In case SIM does not register to network automatically, select the network manually from the handset ‘Settings’. All you have to do is first switch off ‘Automatic’ from ‘Network Selection’ and then manually select the preferred operator from the list (refer to the list of operators in the visited country).
For Android:
- Step 1 :Ensure that the 'Preferred Network' type is set to GSM/WCDMA/LTE on your mobile device.
- Step 2 : If the device does not register automatically, then turn off 'Automatic' and select 'Available network’. All you have to do is first switch off ‘Automatic’ from ‘Network Operators’ and then manually select the preferred operator from the list (refer to the list of operators in the visited country).
